David Borgmeyer Joined the Office of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Relations as Associate Director in 2025.
Borgmeyer brings to ΢ÃÜÆÆ½â many years of experience supporting faculty researchers and teams and developing complex institutional research strategies. His expertise includes individual and group proposal development, a range of federal and foundation sponsors, budget management, seed grant programs, research skills development, research recognition programs, pre-award support, proposal review and editing, faculty liaison work, and more. He has been co-convener of the International Working Group of the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP) and presented at NORDP’s national meetings and other professional societies, including the International Organization of Research Management Societies (INORMS).
Borgmeyer earned a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literatures and has taught at various universities, including Washington University in St. Louis, Saint Louis University, and New Russian Open University in Moscow. He served as the President of the Central Slavic Conference and on the ASEEES Board of Directors. His work has been supported by NEH, Mellon, the US State Department, and other private foundations.
