Photo Essay: At Hotel MacGuffin

Creative & Performing Arts
Sep 25, 2025

On September 13, ΢ƽ actors performed a staged reading of At Hotel MacGuffin by M Sloth Levine and directed by Jen Shook, professor of Theatre, Dance, & Performance Studies. The show is a very queer case of missing persons, missing jewels, and missing the point. Drag, melodrama, noir, and cabaret combine into the feeling that you’ve been here before, you’ll be here again, and you’ll still be looking for that last piece. The playwright, this year’s guest adjudicator for ΢ƽ’s , also hosted a playwriting workshop for students.
